Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of human resource (HR) performance on financial performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan. With the background of the importance of HR in increasing productivity and operational efficiency, this research focuses on the relationship between HR performance and company financial results, as well as the efforts implemented to optimize HR performance in order to achieve better financial performance. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with company staff and analysis of documents related to HR and financial performance. This research identifies key indicators such as productivity, operational efficiency and employee retention, as well as evaluating the efforts made by the company to improve HR performance. The research results show that the performance of HR at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan is quite optimal, but there are still some employees who are less effective. Good employee performance has a positive impact on company productivity and revenue, which in turn significantly influences financial performance. Efforts made by the company, such as training, implementing a performance management system, and improving welfare, have been proven to contribute to improving financial performance.
